We spent some time exploring patterns during math centers last week. The students rotated to centers and worked on making patterns using different manipulatives such as popsicle sticks, unifix cubes, pattern blocks and the Seesaw app. They did a great job and had a lot of fun while learning! We even had one group make a red, white and blue pattern for the Cubs! The firsties were encouraged to try to make more challenging and complex patterns. Each student drew a pattern using the Seesaw app and recorded their thinking about their patterns. These are uploaded onto their individual Seesaw pages. Check them out if you haven't already!
