The firsties learned about the difference between captions and labels this week while continuing our studies of nonfiction texts. We learned that labels are only one or two words and they point directly to an item on a photograph. Captions are sentences that tell about the photograph. We demonstrated our understanding of these concepts by creating our own captions and labels for a photograph. We then recorded our thoughts about captions and labels and loaded them onto our Seesaw pages. Check them out there!
