Mystery Substance A is alive! Say hello to our new friends, the brine shrimp. Using a ProScope, we observed our new friends closely. Did you know Brine Shrimp can also be called "Sea Monkeys"? Ask your Firstie what was Mystery Substance B!
On Friday, we observed two Mystery Substances--A and B. We had to figure out which one was alive. We observed closely, and then added both Mystery Substances into salt water. After several days of observation, and quite a few predictions, one of the substances came to life! Mystery Substance A is alive! Say hello to our new friends, the brine shrimp. Using a ProScope, we observed our new friends closely. Did you know Brine Shrimp can also be called "Sea Monkeys"? Ask your Firstie what was Mystery Substance B!

Room 112 Scientists learned about scientific drawings! We discovered that good scientists observe first and then add as many details to their drawings as they can. We studied shells using magnifying glasses and then we made our very own scientific drawings! After, we put all of our shells in the middle of the our tables and tried to identify whose shell was whose by looking at our scientific drawings.
